What is the North Circle Food Hub

Has finally come to North Branch!

The North Circle Food Hub consists of more than a dozen small local farmers and producers, who are either certified organic or using organic farming practices, and want to grow healthy food for our North Branch community and surrounding neighbors. As a food hub these farmers can aggregate their produce and sell every week a wide selection of fresh, affordable locally grown food.

In 2016 the North Circle Food Hub offered an online ordering service where customers could shop from any of the participating farms and pick up in front of County Market. In 2017 we hope to be able to continue this service and increase convenience by adding more drop sites and a larger window of time to pick up your produce. Subscribe to our e-mail newsletter to stay connected.

No other farmers market north of the Twin Cities offers this exclusive consumer convenience and this deep commitment of support for our local farmers to build a regional food community for our families and friends.

The North Circle Food Hub, sponsored by the Women’s Environmental Institute, provides information, resources and education to farmers interested in transitioning to organically certified production. By connecting with the North Circle Food Hub small farms and market gardeners can get assistance with farming plans, marketing, and distribution, in turn creating extra revenue for our local farmers, while keeping our money local. Why buy organic lettuce from California when it can be grown here? North Circle is an active farmer network with a vision of a regional food system connecting local consumers with local farmers.
